How to clear browsing history on Chrome

- In Chrome click on the three vertical dots at the top right, select “settings”.
- Scroll down and open the advanced options by clicking on “Advanced”.
- Scroll down and look for the item “Clear browsing data
- At this point you will see a pop-up with two tabs: “basic” and “advanced”
- For now, stay on the “basic” tab. Choose if you want to cancel everything or just the last period. It is possible to select from the last hour, last day, last week, last four weeks or the whole period.
- Now move to the “advanced” tab and select the items you want to delete. You can choose from: browsing history, download history, cookies, cached images and files, passwords, autofill data, content and licensing settings.
- You can select everything and press “delete data”

- In Firefox click the menu at the top right with the three horizontal lines. Select “options”.
- In the left menu click on “Privacy & Security”.
- Look for the “History” section and click “clear all current history.
- A pop-up will open where you can choose the period to delete: always, last hour, last two hours, last four hours or today.
- Finally, select the elements you want to delete (you can choose between: pages browsed and downloaded, forms filled in and searches made, cookies, cache, login, offline data and preferences of individual websites). Press “clear now” to clean up Firefox.

- In Safari click the menu at the top right with the wheel. Select “preferences”.
- A pop-up opens, select the “Privacy” tab.
- By clicking on “details” you can delete the data individually for each website you have visited.
