According to Statista, Africa is the world’s largest importer of Japanese automobiles. Statista reports that Japan exported 99.5 000 vehicles to Africa in 2020. The USA, Japan and the European Union also exported 40% of their cars in Africa. Many African countries, including Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, and Kenya, import Japanese used cars.
